      93.318 -- Protecting and Improving Health Globally: Building and Strengthening Public Health Impact, Systems, Capacity and Security

    Description

    The purpose of this NOFO is for implementing partners to work collaboratively with the Nigeria Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) to improve and strengthen the agency’s capacity to implement its public health functions. NCDC recently completed its second Joint External Evaluation (JEE) in August 2023, and has shown significant improvement from the first JEE conducted in 2017. As the country’s National Public Health Institute, the agency will benefit from technical assistance from Implementing Partners to strengthen its public health systems and develop the management capacity of its workforce.
