      17.401 -- International Labor Programs

    Description

    The U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) seeks input, advice, knowledge, recommendations, and promising practices on worker-centered climate mitigation and adaptation efforts. The associated RFI questions are contained in Attachment 1. This RFI intends to:

    1. Identify research gaps, promising approaches, practices, and policies in climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts to protect worker rights and well-being;

    2. Explore how ILAB can best support worker-centered climate adaptation and mitigation efforts;

    3. Inform ILAB’s future programming on the nexus of climate change and labor rights.
