"The purpose of this NOFO is to support the achievement of the Global Health Security (GHS) targets in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) that focus on protecting and improving health globally through regional, national, and local partnerships.1. Improve prevention of avoidable epidemics including naturally occurring outbreaks and intentional or accidental releases of dangerous pathogens2. Improve ability to rapidly detect threats early, including detecting, characterizing, and reporting emerging public health threats3. Improve capacity of rapidly and effectively responding to infectious diseases and public health threats of international concern"
