    Description

The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) intends to publish a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) to advance the diagnosis, management, and treatment of rare diseases). The Rare Diseases Clinical Research Network (RDCRN) consists of the Rare Diseases Clinical Research Consortia (RDCRC) that promote highly collaborative, multi-site, patient-centric, translational, and clinical research and the Data Management and Coordinating Center (DMCC), which will facilitate and support the activities of each of the Rare Diseases Clinical Research Consortia (RDCRC) along with trans-network activities that broadly facilitate the advancement of rare disease research. This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects. The FOA is expected to be published in 2024, with an estimated award date in 2025.
