    Description

The USGS Wetland and Aquatic Research Center, Davie, Florida is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research and technical assistance with a range of ecological questions where integration of large datasets such as those derived from long-term species capture records and satellite telemetry with remotely-sensed products is needed. Approaches using quantitative and geospatial analyses are needed as is experience conducting and publishing reviews that include peer-reviewed manuscripts and reports.Protection of biological diversity has been identified at the global, national, state, and local levels as a critical component of protecting native ecosystems. Effective protection of an area's ecological integrity involves having the ability to evaluate and monitor effects of management actions.
