15.808 -- U.S. Geological Survey Research and Data Collection
The US Geological Survey is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research in developing tool to help animal-habitat relationships, assessing resource selection and population demography of birds and ungulates within grassland, shrubland, and alpine ecosystems. Development of such models and tools could directly inform land management and federal and state wildlife agency decisions on how best to manage wildlife populations across these ecosystems.
This financial assistance opportunity is being issued under a Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Program. CESU’s are partnerships that provide research, technical assistance, and education. Eligible recipients must be a participating partner of the Rocky Mountains Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Program.
