      93.592 -- Family Violence Prevention and Services/Discretionary

    Description

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Family Violence Prevention and Services (OFVPS), Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) Program seeks to award four cooperative agreements under FVPSA to establish and maintain Culturally Specific Sexual Assault Capacity Building Centers (CSSACs) that will enhance intervention and prevention efforts for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and family violence for members of racial and ethnic minority groups. The CSSACs grant recipients are part of a network of National, Special Issue, Culturally Specific, and Capacity Building Resource Centers providing leadership, training, technical assistance, resources, and support to programs and systems serving victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, family violence, and their children. The awards will be cooperative agreements, which is an award instrument used when substantial involvement is anticipated between the awarding office and the recipient during performance of the contemplated project. OFVPS will collaborate with the grant recipient throughout the project period.
