    Description

The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $400,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.PEPFAR South Africa, as part of its strategic alignment with South African institutions and building a sustainable response, is committed to the use of evidence for driving programs and priorities. Economic modeling and analysis are a critical component of this evidence base and crucial for developing sustainability frameworks and decision-making on resource allocations. Furthermore, such data assist PEPFAR South Africa and Government of South Africa partners in understanding expenditure, value, and possible efficiencies related to different program policies and implementation models. These in turn contribute to program management that maximizes impact and efficiency on HIV, TB, and other health issues. The key focus areas of this NOFO include economic analysis as part of program and evaluation and economic modeling to inform program planning and resource allocations. This NOFO will allow for an improved understanding of the necessary investments and achievable efficiencies for programs and services related to HIV, TB, global health security, and other health issues in South Africa.
