      93.279 -- Drug Use and Addiction Research Programs

    Description

    The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) intends to promote the reissue of an initiative by publishing a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) to solicit applications for research on NIDA REI: Reaching Equity at the Intersection of HIV and Substance Use: Novel Approaches to Address HIV Related Health Disparities in Underserved Racial and/or Ethnic Populations. This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects. The NOFO is expected to be published in Summer 2025 with an expected application due date in Winter 2025. This NOFO will utilize the R01 activity code. Details of the planned NOFO are provided below.
