      93.134 -- Grants to Increase Organ Donation

    Description

    The purpose of this Program is to reduce financial disincentives to living organ donation by providing means-tested reimbursement of lost wages, transportation, meals, and dependent care (child-care and elder-care) expenses and other qualified expenses to living organ donors.

    Eligible applicants include states, transplant centers, qualified organ procurement organizations (OPOs) under Section 273 of the Public Health Service Act, or other public or private entities. Faith-based and community-based, Tribes and tribal organizations can apply.
