Description
The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to support research training activities in minority health and health disparities research for individuals from diverse backgrounds, including groups underrepresented in biomedical, behavioral, clinical and social sciences research based at domestic institutions. Research experiences would be at domestic institutions and/or at specified international low and middle income country (LMIC) locations for eligible undergraduate students, graduate students, clinical residents, research fellows, and postdoctoral trainees.

Other Eligible Applicants include the following: Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions; Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISISs); Hispanic-serving Institutions; Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs) ; See NOFO for further eligibility criteria. Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are not eligible to apply. Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U.S. Organizations are not eligible to apply.
