15.808 -- U.S. Geological Survey Research and Data Collection
U.S. Geological Survey’s (USGS), Next Generation Water Observing System (NGWOS) Program, is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU Partner for research on next generation data collection platforms (DCPs). These systems shall leverage low size, weight, power consumption, and cost (low SWaP-C) concepts and technologies while providing added capabilities over what current DCPs offer, especially for high data throughput applications such as imagery-based monitoring and high-frequency sampling for waves.
This financial assistance opportunity is being issued under a Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Program. CESU’s are partnerships that provide research, technical assistance, and education. Eligible recipients must be a participating partner of the Chesapeake Bay Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Program.
