The US Geological Survey’s (USGS) Western Fisheries Research Center in partnership with the Grand Canyon Science Center and Wetland and Aquatic Research Center is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU Partner for research for project titled “State of Washington Dreissenid Risk Assessment Project”. The primary goal of this research/technical assistance is to establish a standardized risk assessment model for invasive dreissenid mussels in watersheds in the state of Washington within the Columbia River Basin (including the Snake River Basin).
This financial assistance opportunity is being issued under a Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Program. CESU’s are partnerships that provide research, technical assistance, and education. Eligible recipients must be a participating partner of the Californian Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Program.
