    Description

    This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) solicits proposals for the FY 2024 NASA EPSCoR Rapid Response Research (R3) program. Each funded NASA EPSCoR proposer shall work closely with a NASA researcher to focus on developing competitive research and technology

    for the solution of scientific and technical issues of importance to the NASA Mission Directorates as listed Appendix 4, Contacts/Inquiries. The R3 program seeks to implement research within NASA and commercial partners to address technical issues. This opportunity will allow EPSCoR researchers to work alongside NASA and commercial partners for up to one year and is intended to strengthen the bonds among EPSCoR jurisdictions, NASA, commercial partners, and other entities.

    The following jurisdictions are eligible to submit a proposal in response to this NOFO: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, US Virgin Islands, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.The National Science Foundation (NSF) determines overall jurisdiction eligibility for EPSCoR. The latest available NSF eligibility tables are used to determine overall jurisdiction eligibility for NASA EPSCoR.
