    Description

    This Notice informs the research community that the National Institute on Aging (NIA) intends to reissue Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) RFA-AG-20-021, �Nathan Shock Centers Coordinating Center (U24 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)." The NOFO will solicit applications for the development and maintenance of a Nathan Shock Centers Coordinating Centers (NSC3).� In addition to reissuing RFA-AG-20-021, NIA intends to reissue its companion NOFO,�RFA-AG-20-020, �Nathan Shock Centers of Excellence in Basic Biology of Aging (P30).� �Therefore, potential applicants may also be interested in reviewing NOT-AG-23-062, �Notice of Intent to Publish the Reissuance of RFA-AG-20-020, "Nathan Shock Centers of Excellence in Basic Biology of Aging (P30 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)." This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects. The NOFO is expected to be published in winter 2024 with an expected application due date in summer 2024. Note that these time frames are simply estimations, and they may change.� The NOFO will utilize the U24 Resource-Related Research Projects � Cooperative Agreements activity code.� �Additional details about the planned NOFO are provided below.
