    Description

    The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to: 1) further develop and embed the principles of person-centered, trauma-informed (PCTI) supportive services for Holocaust survivors living in the United States and other older adults with histories of trauma and their family caregivers; 2) make subgrants to the agencies best positioned to advance and improve the delivery of person-centered, trauma-informed services for older individuals experiencing the long-term and adverse consequences of trauma; and 3) fully realize the establishment and operation of a national resource center that shares best practices and provides training and technical assistance to the aging services network agencies in the aging network delivering services to older individuals experiencing the long-term and adverse consequences of trauma. ACL will award one cooperative agreement for a period of 4 years to a single entity with the experience and capacity to work at the national level to achieve the goals of this initiative.
