Yes, our virtual workshops are recorded, however, our in-person workshops are not.

Thanks to generous donors, our Capacity Building workshops and learning experiences are provided at no financial cost to participants.

To help our partners create and submit highly competitive grant proposals, we offer:

• independent reviews (sample scoring, proofreading, and editing to improve the competitiveness of a near-final draft),
• co-writes (coaching and support developing a competitive proposal), and
• full-writes (end-to-end preparation of a grant proposal with close involvement of the application organization).

Staff offer a review of declined federal proposals and reviewer feedback to strategize future proposal approaches.

Requests for Grant Services support must be received a minimum of 45 days before the proposal deadline.

GrantLab has competitively procured a network of expert grant professionals who have successfully written a wide range of grant proposals.

Each project is scoped and quoted individually. Several factors determine the cost of Grant Services, including:

• Level of Support: independent reviews take fewer hours to complete than co- and full-writes, often resulting in a lower project cost.
• Complexity of Proposal: the length of the project narrative, assessment of required attachments, and subject matter expertise required all affect the cost of Grant Services.

Thanks to generous donors, GrantLab provides free staff time for outreach, intake, vendor prospecting, administration, billing, and facilitation. After reviewing and refining a vendor’s quote for services, partners are asked to contribute as much as they can comfortably afford towards grant writing costs. Following a project assessment, GrantLab could potentially assist ini bridging any remaining funding gap for the cost of services. This model allows GrantLab to effectively use limited resources to sustain and scale this work.

GrantLab reviews components of your organization’s overall readiness for federal funding, your project concept, and the funding opportunity to assign a tier designation to your project.

• Tier 1 projects have a high likelihood of award. The organization is ready to or is already managing direct federal funds successfully, the proposed project is highly responsive to the funder requirements, and the funding opportunity is lucrative with no local competition identified.
• Tier 2 projects have slightly less competitive assessments. There may be fewer awards, or the opportunity may provide single-year funding.
• Tier 3 projects have a lower likelihood of award. This tier is often assigned to organizations applying for their first federal grant. The funding opportunity may have an extremely limited number of awards.

While we focus the majority of our in-person events in Southern Nevada, we encourage partners from across Nevada to participate in our programs, when possible.

We welcome for-profit businesses to review our materials and learn from our experiences, however, our services are only available to nonprofits and government agencies.
