Meghan Brascia-Burns, GPC
Senior Grants Manager
Meghan Brascia-Burns is a native of Las Vegas and the manager of Grant Services at Nevada GrantLab. With a background in teaching and a Master’s in Elementary Education, she brings a deep commitment to educational equity and strategic grantmaking. Meghan has secured over $100 million in competitive grants and community projects across agencies like the U.S. Department of Education, EDA, HUD, and SAMHSA. Her work has supported school-based mental health, STEAM education, workforce development, and two-generation models for families across California and Puerto Rico.
Before her grant career, Meghan taught in Catholic, charter, and public Title I schools in Las Vegas and Denver. A former Division I soccer player at the University of Houston, she holds a B.A. in English with a minor in Education. Outside work, Meghan enjoys cooking Italian comfort food, visiting museums and galleries to discover new art, attending concerts with her husband, Zak, and hiking with their dogs, Ru and Abel.
At Nevada GrantLab, Meghan leads, focusing on building partnerships and funding strategies that drive lasting impact for Las Vegas communities.
