Nicole Bomer, MA, GPC

Nicole Bomer serves as the Director of Grant Services at Nevada GrantLab, where she works with community partners and vendors to craft competitive grant proposals.  Nicole fell in love with nonprofits during college when she began volunteering with the Cheyenne River Youth Project on the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota.  A job with Okiciyapi Tipi Habitat for Humanity introduced her to grant writing, and Nicole has spent the last 20 years working as a grant professional in urban, suburban, rural, and tribal communities.  Her work has helped organizations secure over $608 MM in federal funding across a wide variety of service areas.  Nicole has also worked as a Grants Coordinator for Cook County, Illinois, where she was responsible for reviewing and evaluating grant proposals to select awardees and distribute over $6 MM to 60 nonprofits annually.  In 2019, she moved to Las Vegas to pursue her other passion – sport climbing in the Red Rock National Conservation Area.  In her free time, Nicole enjoys reading science fiction, hiking and nature photography, and searching for the best donut in Las Vegas.
